Steps:

• current from power source induces a magnetic field
• magnetic field induces a second current in a second conductor
• current is captured & used

Need to find out the following values from the equations below:

• Induced voltage (from Faraday's law)
• Current in the receiving coil - usually would know from the input voltage/power/current source
• Number of turns - assuming mostly trial and error in calculations changing values till you get a final induced voltage matching robot
• Duration of charging
• Efficiency factors - a bonus

Starting from final result: induced voltage to power the robot

• you can move voltage to current via ohm’s law $V=IR$
• you can also find power induced with $P=VI$
